Exactly two years ago, a South African, Joseph Rikhotso’s jealous wife petrol bombed the family home of his alleged mistress, South African Daily Sun reports.

And last Tuesday was a sad one as his son’s throat was slit by an unknown man.

The grieving father from Orange Farm, Joburg told Daily Sun he feared his son, Oupa (23) was murdered by the mistress' family in revenge.

He said he was at work when he received a phone call to say that his son had been stabbed.

“I rushed home thinking he had just been injured. But when I got there I found his lifeless body in a pool of blood at the local fire station, where paramedics were trying to resuscitate him,” he said.

The incident occurred on the anniversary of the day his wife accused him of cheating. Oupa had a bright future ahead of him in the music industry.

“He recently released a music video called 'I Want to be a Ben10', which many people loved.”

Oupa was with friends in a salon when an unknown man came in and slit his throat with a knife.

Oupa’s eight-month pregnant girlfriend, Andile Moloi (19) pictured, has lost her best friend.

Gauteng police spokesman Captain Kay Makhubela told Daily Sun that a murder case was opened and the suspect was on the run.
