One of the Chibok girls, Amina Ali Nkeki, who was kidnapped by members of the Boko Haram Islamist group, has been found.
This was revealed by Oby Ezekwesili, the leader of the BringBackOurGirls activists and former Minister of Education, on Wednesday May 18, via her twitter handle.
"Chairman of #ChibokParents has confirmed news that ONE of OUR #ChibokGirls was found by #CivilianJTF. Says only child of his neighbor," she wrote.
Recall that the 276 girls were taken from their secondary school in north-east Nigeria by the Boko Haram Islamist fighters in April 2014.
According to activists, Amina Ali was found by a vigilante group on Tuesday, reportedly pregnant, in the Sambisa Forest, close to the border with Cameroon.
