Book of tributes launch in honour of Nnamdi Azikiwe, 20 years after

A book of tributes and essays written in honour of the first President of Nigeria, late Dr. Nnamdi Azikiwe, will be publicly presented in Lagos tomorrow as part of the activities to commemorate the 20 years anniversary of the death of the foremost nationalist and elder statesman.

The public presentation of the book titled Zik: Testimonies to a Great African (revised edition) and edited by Mr. Henry Onukwuba, a Director of Executive Education at Lagos Business School will take place at the Nigerian Institute of International (NIIA).

Gen. Yakubu Gowon (GCFR) is expected to chair the event with the Obi of Onitsha, His Royal Majesty, Igwe Nnaemeka Alfred Achebe (CFR), as Chief Host and father of the day.

The guest speaker will be the first Republic Minister of Aviation, Chief Mbazulike Amaechi. Other guests will include, the Governor of Anambra State, Willie Obiano, his predecessor, Peter Obi, Senator, Princess Stella Oduah, Hon. Mmaduagwu, among others.
